NERDUNIT ⋘ DECONSTRUCT COLLECTION [FW19]

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA (OCTOBER 10TH, 2019) - USA-founded streetwear brand. Nerdunit, led by Malaysian designer Ronald Chew launched a new Fall Winter 2019 collection titled ‘Deconstruct’.

The collection leads customers on an exploration into the brand’s designing process by breaking down the technicalities and skills involved in creating Nerdunit garments. Elements such as care instructions labels are inverted and displayed externally on the shirts. Graphic designs of sample orders, crop marks, and blueprints that invoke an essence of rawness are heavily featured in the collection.

The main color palette consists of the collection consists of black, orange, purple and beige that when combined, creates an unprecedented dark contrast that appeals to cold tones of Fall-Winter.

Unlike previous collections, ‘Deconstruct’ sees many different types of outerwear characterized by a collage of different textiles including bombers, fleece, denim, and dual-toned jackets. Our signature hoodies are also back with loose-fitting silhouettes featuring variations of the brand’s trademark signage and emblem.
